Whale Sharks of Qatar

Qatar is home to a variety of marine life, including whale sharks. Whale sharks are the largest fish in the world and can grow up to 40 feet in length. They are filter feeders and feed on plankton and small fish. During certain times of the year, whale sharks can be found in Qatari waters. The best time to see them is from April to September, with peak season being from May to August. There are some tour operators in Qatar that offer whale shark watching tours.
